Established by the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church (PBCC) in 2013, the Rapid Relief Team (RRT) serves people with care and compassion in their time of need, and support to charities, government and emergency services confronting some of humankind’s greatest challenges.
Everyday in some small way, Rapid Relief Team volunteers lend a helping hand to people in need.
Emergency and Disaster Relief
When natural disasters unfold, the Rapid Relief Team steps in to serve emergency services with quality food and refreshments and provide tangible support to those affected.
Health and Disability
The Rapid Relief Team works with government and charitable organisations that empower people who live with a disability or those who are facing health adversities. They also support hospitals and their staff, carer support organisations, and researchers who strive to find a cure for cancer and diseases.
Youth
The Rapid Relief Team can step in to support disadvantaged children, whatever the cause may be. From assisting charities that care for children who are unwell, to supporting government education initiatives for children from low-socio economic backgrounds and serving quality food and refreshments to children at youth-focused events, RRT aim to bring a smile to children’s faces.
Homelessness, Poverty and Hardship
The Rapid Relief Team helps to support the noble efforts of the United Kingdom’s homeless missions with catered breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and donates warm, portable blankets and other essential items to those in need.
