Rooted in Care

Introduction

Green Synergy is delighted to be delivering their Rooted in Care project as part of The Culture and Nature for Health and Wellbeing project in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council.

These sessions offer inclusive, accessible, and meaningful nature-based activities such as garden journaling and seed bomb making, designed to support carers.

Not only that, but it gives carers the opportunity to connect with nature as the sessions take place in their beautiful Hillside Garden on Roman Pavement in Lincoln.

Pastries, fruit and delicious drinks are provided too!

The project is aligned with the strategies and policies of Historic England, Natural England, Arts Council England, and the National Lottery Heritage Fund, and contributes to:

• Improved health and wellbeing through participatory culture and nature activities
• Greater awareness and appreciation of local heritage and nature
• Building skills and confidence for support workers and volunteers
• Strengthening connections between the culture, nature, health, and community sectors

When: There are 2 upcoming dates being:

• Monday 10th November 2025 from 11:00am to 2:30pm
