Skills Bootcamps with Guaranteed Interviews for Lincolnshire Residents

Introduction:

There are still spaces for 3 Skills Bootcamps that Steadfast are running from week commencing Monday 3rd November 2025 for residents of Lincolnshire.

All courses offer candidates accredited sector-specific qualifications and each course completer will be invited to a guaranteed interview for real live vacancies with the employers they work with on these programmes.

The different courses will run on the following dates:

Future Teaching Assistants:

Monday 3rd to Friday 21st November 2025 with interviews to be scheduled week commencing Monday 24th November 2025.

Early Years Practitioners:

Monday 3rd to Friday 21st November 2025 with interviews to be scheduled week commencing Monday 24th November 2025.

Health & Social Care:

Monday 3rd to Friday 28th November 2025 with interviews to be scheduled during the week commencing Momday 1st December 2025.

The delivery of the Skills Bootcamps also includes a week of intensive interview preparation support before candidates are being referred to the guaranteed interview stage.

Level 2 Future Teaching Assistant

This Level 2 course equips learners with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to thrive in the Education sector, whether as a Teaching Assistant, progressing to a Level 3 apprenticeship or in a variety of roles within Schools and the wider Education industry.

Modules include:

  • Understand schools and colleges as organisations
  • Understand children and young person development
  • Understand communication and professional relationships with children, young people, and adults
  • Understand children and young people’s health and safety
  • Safeguarding children and young people
  • Understand equality, diversity, and inclusion in work with children and young people

You will also learn:

  • Understand and explore different types of schools and colleges
  • Consider the roles of staff and governing bodies
  • Understand educational programmes and effective teaching strategies
  • Understand the role of policies and procedures in education
  • Understand child and young person development
  • Explore activities and experiences that support development
  • Consider holistic development
  • Understand the impact of health, background, and environment
  • Explore the effects of transitions
  • Appreciate different communication methods

This course will be delivered remotely via Zoom. Learners must have access to a laptop/computer and Wi-Fi connection.

Delivery dates: Monday 3rd to Friday 21st November 2025 daily from 9:30am to 3:30pm.

To be eligible:

  • Aged 19 or over at the start of the course
  • Lived in the UK for at least 3 years
  • Have a National Insurance number
  • Live in Lincolnshire
  • Have access to a laptop/computer and Wi-Fi connection

On successful completion of the course you will have a guaranteed interview for live vacancies with CV Education.

Level 2 Early Years

This qualification will allow learners to gain vital knowledge of childcare in an early years environments. This includes the value of play, roles and responsibilities of carers and volunteers, and the importance of developing links in the local community. The qualification considers childcare and development from birth to 5 years 11 months. It is aimed at learners, parents and volunteers wishing to participate in the provision made by early years environments, such as pre-schools.

Modules include:

  • Introduction to the Principles of Child Development for Early Years Practitioners
  • Understand the Role and Responsibilities of the Early Years Practitioner
  • Introduction to the Principles of Safeguarding Babies and Young Children for Early Years Practitioners

You will also learn:

  • How to improve own practice in the early years setting.
  • The role of the team in an early years setting.
  • The roles and responsibilities within an early years setting.
  • The roles and responsibilities of carers and volunteers in early years settings.
  • The importance of developing links in the local community that could enhance children’s learning and development.

This course will be delivered remotely via Zoom. Learners must have access to a laptop/computer and Wi-Fi connection.

Level 3 Healthcare Support Worker

This Level 3 course equips learners with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to thrive in health and social care roles. It covers professional responsibilities, communication, and specialist knowledge to support individuals with diverse needs.

Modules include:

  • Duty of Care
  • Understanding Mental Ill-Health
  • Dementia Awareness
  • Understanding the Administration of
  • Medication
  • Safeguarding and Professional Boundaries

You will also learn:

  • To provide safe, compassionate, person-centred care
  • To recognise and respond to risks and concerns
  • To work effectively as part of a care team
  • To support individuals to live safely and independently
  • To communicate professionally with patients and colleagues

This course will be delivered remotely via Zoom. Learners must have access to a laptop/computer and Wi-Fi connection.

Delivery dates: Monday 3rd to Friday 28th November 2025 daily from 9:30am to 3:30pm.

To be eligible:

  • Aged 19 or over at the start of the course
  • Lived in the UK for at least 3 years
  • Have a National Insurance number
  • Live in Lincolnshire
  • Have access to a laptop/computer and Wi-Fi connection

On successful completion of the course you will have a guaranteed interview with Atlas Care and Voyage Care.
