On Friday 6th December there is a Louth and Horncastle Community Summit for organisations within the constituency of Louth and Horncastle.
Our villages, market towns and coastal communities have a proud history of pulling together and helping neighbours in times of need.
In this spirit, the summit will champion those efforts and help local organisations to share information about the support they have available.
Attendees from previous Community Summits have found the event to be a very useful opportunity to hear about support that is available in our area, and a chance to to share experiences and network with other members of the community.
With a high number of pensioners in our community, thousands of which are expected to be impacted by cuts to the Winter Fuel Allowance, we are particularly keen that we take the opportunity this year to highlight further support for older people in our area who may be struggling.
The Louth and Horncastle Community Summit will take place on Friday 6th December 2024 between 9.30am and 12.00pm in Horncastle.
The event address will be shared with attendees before the event.
Doors will open at 9.00am for arrival and registration.
The Community Summit will be split into two sessions. The first will start at 9.30am focusing on pensioners and the second starting at 11.00am focusing on the support for families and our community.
This event is free for organisations to attend and we hope to have a wide range of constituency organisations represented.
